In 2003, I co-founded the spin-off company "ConfigWorks Informationssysteme
und Consulting GmbH", short ConfigWorks, which
I served - together with others - as a managing director until 2008. I left the company in 2008 when
moving to Dortmund.
ConfigWorks delivers software solutions for the development of next-generation
interactive selling and advisory applications. The company's main product
"CwAdvisor Suite", for whose technical design and implementation I was
responsible, is on the market since 2003 and has been successfully applied
in various domains. Interactive advisory solutions have been built for major
Austrian e-Commerce sites such as Geizhals.at, Onetwosold.at, or Quelle.at as well
as financial services providers such as Wüstenrot, Hypo Alpe Adria Bank or Fundamenta
Lakáskassza (HUN).
The application domains cover the range from consumer electronics and financial services over
to quality-and-taste products such as wine or fine cigars.

Principal investigator in different national and international research projects with
industrial partners such as Siemens, Deutsche Lufthansa, British Telecom, ILOG S.A. etc.
